The ancient yogis used logs of wood, stones, and ropes to help them practice asanas effectively. Hatha Yoga, the original Yoga, with props creates a sense of encouragement and confidence, provides a feeling of peace and tranquility, and ultimately helps increase and enhance the understanding of each asana.  Props allow asanas to be held  easily and for longer duration without strain.  Whether you are weak or strong, young or old, beginner or advanced, props make each asana accessible to all.

Asana practiced with props is unique-it is the only form of exercise which allows both action and relaxation simultaneously.
